Emmanuelle Flahault-Franc joined IRIS in 2017. As the Director of Communications and Marketing, she defines and implements IRIS’s branding strategy and provides operational support to our portfolio companies’ media and public outreach efforts.
Throughout her career, Emmanuelle has held several positions at various esteemed tech and media firms. Prior to joining IRIS, she worked for BFM Business, where she launched and produced conferences, entrepreneur events, and TV programs.
Prior to her tenure at BFM, she worked as a Communications Manager at Google, where she was in charge of PR and events for YouTube and Android. After Google, Emmanuelle joined Ubisoft, where she worked on expanding the impact of the company’s international events. She also managed communications for Airbnb across southern Europe before launching the platform’s Experiences Program from Paris.
Emmanuelle studied at CELSA – University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris, France) where she graduated with a double master’s degree in Communications and Marketing after earning a BA in History and Literature. She also holds a master’s degree in Marketing from Université de Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada).
Emmanuelle is an MBA lecturer at Institut Leonard de Vinci and the author of the book Into the French Tech, which offers an unfiltered look at launching and growing a start-up.
