Thorben joined the IRIS team in 2018 as Principal and became Partner in 2021. He is based in Berlin, where he invests in early-stage companies within the DACH region, with a focus on software applications, marketplaces, and B2B networks.

Before joining IRIS, Thorben was Principal at Capnamic Venture as financial Analyst and Investor. Prior to that, he gained operational experience in several startups.

Thorben studied at UCLA (USA), the University of Melbourne (Australia), KAIST (Korea) and holds a diploma in Business Technology from the Technical University of Munich (Germany).
